IV Eats Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Eats Collective LLC, d/b/a "IV Eats" ("IV Eats," "we," "us"), operates the IV Eats app and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password, when you create a customer or restaurant account.
  • Order information: items purchased, order amounts, restaurant, and pickup/order history.
  • Payment information: payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. IV Eats does not receive or store your full card number. We may receive limited transaction metadata from Stripe (such as the last four digits of a card, transaction amount, and payment status) for order records and support purposes.
  • Restaurant account information (for restaurant partners): business name, address, and information provided during Stripe Connect onboarding, which is collected and stored directly by Stripe, not by IV Eats.
  • Communications: if you contact us for support, we retain that communication.
  • Automatically collected information: basic technical information such as device type, browser, and general usage data, to help us operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: create and manage your account; process orders and payments; send order confirmations and related communications; provide customer support; maintain the security and integrity of the Service; and comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting.

3. How We Share Information

We share information with: Stripe, to process payments and, for restaurants, payouts. Resend (or our email service provider), to send order confirmation and account-related emails. Our hosting and database providers, to operate the Service. Restaurants, limited to what is necessary to fulfill your order (e.g. your name and order details, so they can prepare and hand off your order). Law enforcement or regulators, when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations after account closure.

5. Your Choices

You may update your account information at any time through the app. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at team@iveats.com, subject to our ability to retain certain records as required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).

6. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@iveats.com. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
